Olympus IX83 Motorized Inverted Fluorescence Microscope
The Olympus IX83 is a fully motorized inverted fluorescence microscope configured for advanced live-cell imaging, microfluidic experiments and 3D cell imaging. The system integrates LED fluorescence excitation, transmitted-light observation, a motorized XY stage, a high-sensitivity sCMOS camera, an incubation system and image acquisition software with deconvolution tools.
The microscope is equipped with motorized focusing, automated light-path selection, a motorized objective turret and a motorized fluorescence filter turret, allowing reproducible imaging conditions and automated acquisition protocols. Its motorized stage and interchangeable inserts make it suitable for different sample formats, including slides, culture plates and microfluidic devices.
Fluorescence imaging is supported by a multi-wavelength LED excitation source and a Hamamatsu ORCA-Fusion BT sCMOS camera with high quantum efficiency. The integrated incubation system enables temperature-controlled live-cell imaging, while CellSens Dimension software supports multidimensional acquisition, time-lapse experiments, Z-stacks, 3D visualization and 2D deconvolution. This equipment is particularly useful for cell culture studies, organ-on-chip and microfluidic assays, fluorescence microscopy and dynamic biological experiments.
