MANY CONGRATULATIONS SEPI!!

The Microfluidics Cluster UPV/EHU continues to grow through outstanding research initiatives. We are proud to share that Sepideh has been awarded a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship from the University of the Basque Country (EHU), enabling the development of her research over the next three years.

This project will be carried out through an international collaboration with the Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands) and EHU, further strengthening connections between leading institutions in microfluidics and advanced materials.

Her research will focus on the development of novel hybrid microfluidic devices based on smart materials, an innovative approach aimed at enhancing the biomedical applicability of lab-on-a-chip technologies. In particular, the project seeks to enable the early detection of cancer biomarkers, contributing to faster, more accessible, and more efficient diagnostic solutions.

The work is supported by leading experts in the field, including Albert Schenning, Fernando Benito López, Lourdes Basabe-Desmonts, and Dr. Daniel Patko.
