REGIONAL CONFERENCE: ECOSYSTEM SERVICES IN A CHANGING WORLD: MOVING FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE
From 15 to 19 October, representatives of the UNESCO chair will attend the ESP Europe 2018 Regional Conference: Ecosystem services in a changing world: moving from theory to practice, held in Donostia-San Sebastián, in order to present their research on ecosystem services:
.- Identifying Green Infrastructure as a Basis for an Incentive Mechanism at the Municipality Level in Biscay (Basque Country).
.- Implementation of compensatory measures using a model based on ecosystem services.
.- Land use efficiency through analysis of agrological capacity and ecosystem services in an industrialized region (Biscay, Spain).
.- Analysing the synergies and trade-offs between ecosystem services to reorient land use planning in Metropolitan Bilbao (Biscay, Basque Country).
.- Capacity of the green infrastructure to regulate the heat island effect in the city of Bilbao.
.- A comprehensive assessment of ecosystem services: integrating supply, demand and interest in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve
