IÑAKI BARCENA HINOJAL.



Law Degree (1980) and PhD in Social and Political Sciences (1990). Full Professor and researcher at the University of the Basque Country since 1984, in the Dept. of Political Science and Administration, where he was Director between 2009 and 2011.



He has been part of the research team PARTE HARTUZ since its inception and is currently a principal investigator of the consolidated research group EKOPOL. He is coordinator of the Training Unit for EMAN Research and director of the Doctorate Program Society, Politics and Culture. He is member of the Permanent Council of the Master's and Doctorate School of the UPV-EHU.



He is a member of the Editorial Board of the journals Ecología Política, Hegoa, VIENTO SUR and ZER. He is an activist of Ekologistak Martxan and participates in SOLIDARY (MINECO), TRADENER (FOCAD) and mPOWER (H2020) research projects.
