Lawyer of the Bar of San Sebastian since 1997 specialised on Administrative & Environmental Law.

PHd Law 2005, University of the Basque Country. Master on Environmental Law & UNESCO Diploma on Human Rights (Geneva, 2011). Visiting Fellow at St. Antony´s College, University of Oxford (2003/04) and at the Europa Institute, University of Edinburgh, 2009. Professor of Administrative Law, Director of the Master on Environmental Law (http://mida.asmoz.org) and Lecturer at the Official Master to access for Lawyer accreditation. Lecturer of Public and Environmental law at the University of Deusto.

Author of various publications & books on Environmental Law. Member of the Mountaineering Commission of the UIAA, 2011-16 President of the Legal Experts Working Group of the UIAA (Mountainnering International Federation), http://www.theuiaa.org. Since 2014 he is Member of the IUCN World Commission of Environmental Law.
