Alberto Emparanza Sobejano has a long-standing scientific and teaching career in BusinessLaw. This shows in the number and quality of his scientific contributions in various fieldsof Business and Commercial Law (Transport and Maritime Law, Insurance Law, UnfairCompetition and Antitrust Law, Company Law and the Law of Non-Profit Organizations)published in the highest-rated journals of each area and by the most relevant publishers. It isalso highlighted by the large number of scientific conferences and symposiums to which hehas been invited. He is member of boards and advisory committees of a number of scientificjournals and integrates national committees responsible for the evaluation of the quality ofresearch. He presents an outstanding skill in the training of young researchers and scholars,which is underlined by the supervision of six PhD dissertations. He is frequently invited toparticipate in Examination Commissions of PhD Dissertations. Besides his scientific merits(see B), his excellency in the scientific field shows in the recognition of six wage complements(2017), awarded to outstanding researchers, by the Basque Agency for the Evaluation ofQuality and Accreditation of the Basque University System C1, C2, B1, B2, B3, A1), obtaining
100 out of 100 points. Since September 2009, he is external expert by appointment of theANECA in the Program ACADEMIA, evaluating applications for the certification as Profesor. He frequently acts as arbitrator for the Cámara de Comercio d
