Edurne TERRADILLOS ORMAETXEA is a Professor on Labour and Social Security Law in the Law Faculty of the University of Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Law PhD from the Law Faculty of the University of Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 1999. Since she started her University work she has taught in different doctorate programmes of the Department of Business Law, has taken part in three Erasmus+ for teaching, and has taken part in more than twenty research projects. From 2015 onwards, she is leading a project integrated in a coordinated project granted by the Spanish Government.
She is also the author of various scientific books and numerous research papers on subjects such as the business groups in Labour law, collective rights of workers, European collective bargaining, proportionality principle and disciplinary powers, employment policies and European social law.
She has directed a thesis, and she is currently directing a European thesis and three more.
In the field of management she has been Vice Dean for Quality and Teaching Innovation for six years and Dean of the Faculty of Law of the UPV/EHU during one year.
Finally she has been an expert in the so-called Consejo Económico y Social Vasco from 2014 until 2019.
