Designing and Building a Critical State of the Art for Research

PhD training for today’s PhD students; tomorrow’s researchers

A Designing Research approach is used to offer two mixed-discipline practical PhD courses, the first on Designing and Building a Critical State of the Art for Research, and the second one on Designing and Preparing a Research Publication. Each course runs for eight weeks, with one three-hour class per week. Both courses will be offered at the three UPV/EHU Campuses, in Gasteiz, Leioa, and Donostia, starting in January and April, 2020, and will be conducted in English.

Group size:

A minimum of 9 students is needed to run each eight-week course in each Campus, and there is a maximum of 18 students in each group.

Requirements:

For the two practical courses, students will be expected to attend at least 90% of the classes.

Duration:

Each course runs for eight weeks, with one three-hour class per week (24 hours).
