Semestre 1: agosto - diciembre (debes llegar antes del 22 de agosto de 2025)
Semestre 2: enero - abril (debes llegar antes del 2 de enero de 2026)
Requerimientos de idioma: TOEFL: IBT minimum score: 80 or PBT minimum score 550 / IELTS: Minimum score 6.5. Must be taken within the last 2 years Students whose degree programs are taught entirely in English, must submit a signed letter from their academic advisor or exchange coordinator confirming that they are enrolled and participating in a fully English-taught program.
  1. Oferta académica: Programs | Florida International University Catalog https://catalog.fiu.edu/   Course Load per semester: 12 credits minimum, 15 credits maximum (4-5 classes)
  2. Áreas restringidas: courses and programs in the College of Medicine and the College of Law are excluded from all exchange agreements. Course availability is very limited in the following departments: Finance, Accounting, Communication (Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations), Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics. There are no Pharmacy courses.
  3. Requerimientos específicos: International Exchange Students are required to purchase health insurance through FIU as the policy meets all requirements for an exchange student visa.

ADMISIÓN (gestiona la ORI)

PLAZOS 2025-2026: 
- ORII - plazo límite para enviar las nominaciones: 14 de febrero (1º C, UPV/EHU): 1 de agosto (2º C, UPV/EHU)
-ESTUDIANTE -límite para realizar la solicitud online: 14 de marzo (1º C, UPV/EHU); 15 de septiembre (2º C, UPV/EHU)

PROCESO DE ADMISIÓN

PASO 1

  • ​La Oficina de Relaciones Internacionales de UPV/EHU (ORI) nominará al/a la estudiante en FIU

PASO 2

  • FIU se pondra en contaco contigo por email para indicarte los siguientes pasos. 
  1. El/la estudiante, ​​​​​ recibira instrucciones y los pasos a seguir para generar su Panther ID. (Esta identificación es necesaria para completar el proceso de solicitud)  
  1. Una vez que creas tu cuenta tendras que completar la solicitud online antes del plazo establecido y adjuntar los documentos que se indican.  Application Portal
