PARTICIPATION OF THE UNESCO CHAIR IN THE UN’s PARTNERSHIP EXCHANGE FORUM
July 13th is the date of the Partnership Exchange in the UN Headquarters in New York, organised by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP). The event provides a space for member states and civil society to exchange experiences around the design and implementation of alliances which contribute to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Miren Onaindia and Jasone Unzueta, both from the UNESCO Chair, will participate in the forum. They will present the research project Ecosystem Services Assessment of the Basque Country, the Master of Environment, Sustainability and SDGs and the contributions of biosphere reserves (good practice in Spanish biosphere reserves) to the SDGs as an example of collaboration involving academia and the public and private sectors.
