Erasmus+ PhD (outgoing)
Erasmus+ PhD grants for for doctoral students are managed by the International Relations Office.
- Stays of between two and three months.
- Stays from 1 September 2026 onwards.
- For students who do not have research-related contracts, as this group has fewer opportunities to undertake international stays.
- Students who have received an Erasmus+ Internships grant may also apply for an Erasmus+ PhD grant, provided that the placements are for different research stays (although they may not be given priority when scholarships are awarded, as they have already benefited from a previous stay).
- IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to receive the grant, DOKe must have a signed Erasmus Agreement with the host university (at the relevant centre, department or faculty). Here you can find the list of agreements signed between DOKe and other research institutions.
You can find the call for applications on their website and send them all the necessary documentation (in Spanish): ERASMUS+ PHD. Deadline (CLOSED): June 28, 2026.
If you have any queries regarding the call for applications, please contact the International Relations Office: international@ehu.eus / 946 01 5823.
