Enrolment on a doctoral programme

FIRST ENROLMENT

Dates: 23rd October to 17th November 2023

As established in the doctoral guides, once the application has been ratified (place reserved) and a tutor has been assigned by the doctoral programme's Academic Commission, the secretary's office of the doctoral programme in question will proceed with the enrolment.

Documentation required and how to submit it

A certified photocopy, or photocopy plus original, of the Degree (Bachelor's degree, Architecture and Engineering degrees or equivalents), and Master's degree qualifications (except for those who have completed these studies at the UPV/EHU). It may be provided:

  • In person (at any of the Doctoral School offices)
  • By post (at the address of any of the offices)
  • For the purposes of comparison: the photocopy and original of the aforementioned Degree and Master's Degree qualifications may only be submitted in person (at any of the Doctoral School offices)

If applicable, documents proving entitlement to a reduced price or exemption from the public utility enrolment rates (large families, disability, etc.). It may be provided:

Sending documents to students from the DocS

Once enrolment is complete, the Doctoral School will have the following sent to the students by email:

  • Bank promissory note for payment to be made (payment may not be made by direct debit).
  • Document with information related to the user name and password for all the UPV/EHU services.

Payment of enrolment fee, administrative fees and compulsory insurance

Students under a co-supervision agreement

Students that are enrolled under a co-supervision agreement must follow the indications given in said co-supervision agreement. Nevertheless, in all courses, the administrative fees and compulsory insurance (around 30€) must be paid at the UPV/EHU, following the previous indications regarding payment.
