Competencies

  • Identify and rigorously select the appropriate methodology to formulate hypotheses, define problems and design work strategies specific to research, emphasizing ethical commitment.
  • Ability for reasoning, critical and self-critical reflection as a way to improve the learning process itself and the generation and development of ideas in a professional or research environment.
  • Ability to assume responsibility for one's own professional development, according to the challenges and opportunities posed by society.
  • Ability to obtain, select, prepare and process information from various sources with objective criteria, prioritizing them according to their quality and relevance.
  • Ability to produce digital content for society, promoting the use of new technologies and commitment to safety and professional ethics.
  • Decide and use the appropriate procedures to obtain funding as a researcher or as an entrepreneur.
  • Knowing how to communicate and argue knowledge, results and conclusions of research or professional activities in front of specialized or non specialized public in a clear and unambiguous manner

  • Students are able to promote, in academic and professional contexts, the technologic and scientific advances of a society based on knowledge and respect for: a) fundamental rights and equal opportunities between men and women, b) the principles of equal opportunity and universal accessibility for disabled people and c) the values typical of a peaceful, democratic culture.
  • Students are able to solve problems and make decisions of any nature while maintaining their commitment to the use and defence of equality policies.

  • The student has the ability to generate new ideas based on their own decisions.

  • The student is organised in the work, demonstrating that they know how to manage the time and resources available.
  • The students will develop critical thinking and reasoning and know how to communicate in an egalitarian and non-sexist manner in both written and oral forms, in their own language and in a foreign language.
