Doctor in Neurobiology (2005) from the University Complutense of Madrid and Senior Researcher at the Department of Pharmacology of the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. Member of the Center for Biomedical Research in Mental Health Network (CIBERSAM), and of the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria BioCruces Bizkaia. Professor in the degrees of Medicine and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; and in different Master programs in the UPV/EHU, the University of Deusto, and CIBERSAM. Her scientific career has been focused in the field of Neuropsychopharmacology and the study of the Biological Basis of Mental Disorders.
