Competencies

  • For students to acquire the ability to apply their technical knowledge taking into account the technological aspects and those derived from the legal framework in which they are performed and the social and environmental consequences that activities in their field imply.
  • For students to be able to acquire and properly interrelate the knowledge necessary to take on and assimilate the study of theoretical concepts and practical application in the field of Electrical Power Systems, Renewable Energies and the integration of both.
  • For students to be able to analyse and solve problems in new environments, not addressed during the training period, which require coordination with other disciplines to optimise the implementation and use of renewable energies and facilitate their correct integration into the Electrical Power System.
  • For students to be able to self-sufficiently perform the activities necessary in order to keep their knowledge updated, to increase and broaden the acquired knowledge and to take on research activities with guaranteed success, all within the field of renewable energies and electrical power systems, while placing special importance on the integration of both concepts.
  • For students to be able to transmit their knowledge, as well as the scientific and technological principles upon which it is based, in a clear and easily understandable way, adjusting the technical level of their presentation depending on whether the audience is specialised or not in the field of Renewable Energies and Electrical Power Systems.
  • For students to know how to integrate all the acquired knowledge in order to be able to develop, coordinate and monitor technical activities relating to renewable energies and their integration into the Electrical Power System.
