Competencies

  • For students to acquire the multidisciplinary knowledge that allows them to take on complex problem solving in both the business and public sectors, as well as in the field of research into Historical Constructions.
  • For students to be able to coordinate effective methodological protocols in order to identify the relevant aspects that contribute towards the conservation and efficient management of Built Heritage.
  • For students to be able to drive and coordinate projects related to Built Heritage taking into account its bi-dimensional nature: as support for the collective memory and/or historical knowledge and as a socio-economic resource for the sustainable development of contemporary societies.
  • For students to be able to effectively design, create, write and present scientific works and doctoral and postdoctoral research.
  • For students to be able, once their training is complete, to plan and carry out work or projects that require deeper knowledge than is acquired in the course or to take on the resolution of new problems, relating to Built Heritage, in a self-sufficient manner.
  • For students to cultivate and acquire attitudes that allow them to become part of projects and teams of an interdisciplinary nature in the field of Historical Constructions.
  • For students to develop written and oral communication skills in order to be able to transmit their ideas in a clear and precise way to colleagues, clients and the general public, including constructive debate on possible alternatives to their proposals.
