EVA MARIA VELASCO BALMASEDA

She has a University degree in Economics and Business and Ph.D.Sc. dissertation at the University of the Basque Country. She has published in national (11) and international (5) journals, book's chapters in English (3) and Spanish (13) and books (2), and she has participated in national (7) and international (15) Congresses. She has collaborated in national (8) and international (3) research projects, and has executed R&D contracts with firms (7). She has been visiting researcher at the University of Wales (United Kingdom), Lille (France), Reno (Nevada), Boston (Harvard Massachusetts) and Rensselaer (New York). In 2001 she received a prize for the research work carried out in the area of Social Sciences and Humanities. The prize was awarded by EUSKOIKER University-Enterprise Foundation (endowment 6.010 €). She co-supervised a Thesis which obtained the Extraordinary Doctorate Award (year 2016/17). Her research interest areas deal with regional innovation systems, innovation management, gender equality and corporate social responsibility.

Besides, she has lectured in the Master on European Union's Political Integration and Economic Union (UPV/EHU), in USAC program (Universities Studies Abroad Consortium) at the UPV-EHU and in several foreign universities: Tallin (Estonia), Reykjavik (Iceland), Cusco (Peru), Riga (Latvia), Sibiu (Romania), College of Dunaújváros (Hungary), Sassari (Sardinia) and Pula (Croatia).
