Graduated in Psychology in 2021 at the University of Deusto (Spain). I obtained an Erasmus grant for the completion of the third year of Bachelor's degree at the University of Roehampton (London, UK) and a Research Collaboration grant in Neuromuscular Diseases. After the Bachelor's degree, I studied a Master in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and Cognitive Stimulation (Autonomous University of Barcelona, UAB, 2012-2013) and a Master in Child and Adult Clinical Neuropsychology (UAB, 2013-2016). Between 2014 and 2016 I worked as a Clinical Neuropsychologist in the Brain Injury Unit at Aita Menni Hospital.

Subsequently, I obtained a Predoctoral grant from the Basque Government developed at Biodonostia Health Research Institute, which culminated in an International Doctoral Thesis qualified as Cum Laude, and proposed for doctoral extraordinary award. During my doctorate, I did a collaboration research stay at the Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA) and obtained a grant to carry out an international research stay at the Neuroimaging Laboratory at the Santa Lucía Foundation (Rome, Italy).

I am currently an assistant professor accredited by UNIBASQ at the University of the Basque Country (2019-present) with a research line focused on Central Nervous System involvement of Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1. Additionally, I investigate the neurodevelopment of preterm children through the longitudinal follow-up of a cohort since 2013.
