Graduate (2006) and Doctor with International Mention in Biochemistry (2012) at the UPV/EHU. She was a postdoctoral researcher at the SDU in Odense (Denmark, 2012-2015). From 2009, she is a teacher in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the UPV/EHU. She has been the supervisor of 6 final degree and 2 final master works. At present, she is co-supervising a thesis project.



Since 2015, she is member of the research group Neuronal Ubiquitin Pathway. She has participated in 23 research projects, and leaded one of them. She is co-author of various publicationes: 23 research articles, 38 popular science articles, and 3 book chapters. Since 2017, she is a montly columnist of the newspaper Berria, in the section of popular science. She has presented around 40 communications at national and international conferences, winning the prize for the best oral presentation in two of them. She is reviewer in 4 scientific journals. Her research interests focus on: (i) studying the regulation of proliferative signals, and (ii) applying mass spectrometry-based proteomics to dissect cell signaling pathways and uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying diseases related with the nervous system.
