Researcher of the Dept. of Material Physics, Basque Country University, Spain. Graduated as an engineer in the Metallurgy in Moscow Steel and Alloys Institute (presently National University of Science and Technology) in 1982 and received PhD degree in 2003 in the Basque Country University, Spain in the studies of transport and magnetic properties of glass-coating microwires. Current fields of interest: amorphous and nanocrystalline ferromagnetic materials, magnetic micro-wires, giant magneto-impedance, giant magnetoresistance, magnetoelastic sensors. She has published more than 300 referred papers in the international journals, two books, a few book chapters, author of two patents, and participates in research projects. She was a Co-Chairman of the International Workshop on Magnetic Wires – 2008, Zumaia. She was a Member of the organizing committee of: International Workshop on Magnetic Wires–2001, Joint European Magnetic symposium -JEMS-2006, International Conference on Nanoscaled Magnetism DICNMA-2013, Donostia International Workshop on Energy, Materials, and Nanotechnology DINEMN-2015, International workshop on magnetic wires IWMW-7, Ordizia, 24-th International Symposium on Metastable, Amorphous and Nanostructured materials ISMANAM-2017, member of several editorial boards and various committees of International Conferences, Guest Editor of J. Alloys and Compounds, Phys. Stat. Sol and Special Issue of Sensors.
