Surveying Engineer (2001), Degree in Geography (2005) and PhD from the UPV/EHU with the Thesis entitled 'Industrial GIS: A tool for the management and promotion of industry. The case of Alava'. She has been a lecturer in the Department of Graphical Expression and Engineering Projects of the UPV/EHU since 2007, in the School of Engineering of Bilbao. She has been deputy director of the University School of Technical Engineering of Mining and Public Works of the UPV/EHU and she is currently Coordinator of the 4th year of the Civil Engineering degree and responsible for a UPV/EHU master's degree.



Her research activity is focused on the application of Geospatial Technology in different areas: on the one hand, in urban and socio-spatial analysis and, on the other hand, in analysis related to relief, its shapes and composition. For this, he uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology, CAD programs, 3D laser-scanner technology, 3D modeling and LiDAR technology. She has participated in about twenty research projects and contracts and is co-author of a dozen research articles.
