Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at the UPV/EHU since 2021.



After graduating in Pharmacy and Pharmacology (UPV/EHU, 2001-2006), I completed a PhD in Pharmacology (UPV/EHU, 2006-2010), during which I focused on the study of the endocannabinoid system in human brain postmortem of subjects with alcoholism. Subsequently, I did a 4-year post-doctorate at Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, under the supervision of Dr. Bruno Giros (2010-2015), working mainly on the identification of new proteins associated with the dopamine transporter.



I am the author 35 publications, of which 24 are JCR articles, 1 book chapter and 2 teaching publications. Recognized six-year-terms by ANECA=2. Index h = 14. Principal researcher in 4 national competitive projects. Research collaborator in 12 competitive projects of European, national or regional plans. Participant in 1 contract with companies.



I have supervised 2 Doctoral Thesis (+2 ongoing), 6 Final Master Projects (+2 ongoing) and 16 Final Degree’s Projects (+4 ongoing). My research focuses on neuroreceptor and synaptic proteins alterations in psychiatric disorders.
